![]() Salutations! This week we feature San Francisco based, Empty Rooms, on our show. We met up with Chris, Eric, and Garritt over at Giorgio's Pizzeria in the Richmond and discussed their EP, a very unique song numbering system, and a variety of other things. Also - a first for us over here at the bay bridged (and hopefully not the last) - we recorded Empty Rooms' live show over at the Hemlock Tavern last Friday where they shared the stage with Elephone and Finest Dearest. We have included one of the songs in this episode to share with you all! This was a great interview and a fun show for us to make. The only thing we regret was not being able to meet up with Andy, their bassist/vocalist, due to a recent accident. We are, however, happy to report that he looked and sounded great at their show and we wish him a very speedy recovery. Be sure to check their website for updates on future shows they'll be playing at in the Bay Area! Also, if you haven't noticed, we have a brand new look for the website! We spent some long and hard hours the last few weeks debating about where we wanted to go with the site given the success we've had so far in this crazy endeavor of ours. We think it turned out great and hope you do to. We also have some amazing things planned for later this summer that Ben and I can't wait to share with you all. So stay tuned! Have a great week! |

To start off June and the summer we decided to feature Pidgeon (not Pigeon!) - an awesome Pop/Rock/Punk/Scream act from San Francisco. These guys mix a whole range of sounds with very unique and rather deep lyrics to create some good ol' fashioned fist-raising, heart pounding rock music. Ben and I had a blast interviewing these guys over at the bay bridged headquarters. We discussed their current album - From Gutter With Love, a bit about their upcoming album, and even discussed what it was like having a song of theirs played on TVs Gilmore Girls. So check out the show, go buy their album over at Absolutely Kosher, and check them out live! For more information on Pidgeon check out their website! |

This week we are featuring Peloton - a new 4 piece shoegaze/pop act from San Francisco. We met up with Brian, Miyako, Dustin, and William at the bay bridged headquarters to discuss their EP, some new material they've been working on, and getting started as a band. They have their 7th show ever coming up this Thursday, May 18th at The Make Out Room with Love is Chemicals, Scrabbel (featured on Episode 4!), and Fake French. We had heard amazing things about Peloton before we had even decided to do a feature on them - and they certainly did not disappoint! Hello! This week we feature Parker Street Cinema, a three piece instrumental group from San Francisco. Ben and I had a blast interviewing these guys - they truly make this venture of ours worth it. We also just saw these guys at the Hotel Utah last Thursday and they were great live. They will be playing at The Edinburgh Castle on May 27th with Continental and Brookhaven. For those of you who missed it, Continental was our first show here at the bay bridged and it can be downloaded here! We will actually be featuring Brookhaven early this summer, so keep a look out! On an unrelated note, we have been amazed by the support that our listeners have shown for Deb Zeller and her recent legal battle. For more information, a link to an article in Mesh can be found on the right side of the webpage. We hope to raise another $100 for her - so if you can - please donate. Any amount will help! We'll see you next week! |
